Bang The Drum is a great little brewery located on Orcutt Road, at the corner of Duncan and Orcutt. Not far from the brewery is the bike trail - it's easy to reach by car, bus or bike.
Hours are Monday 2-10 pm, Tuesday closed, Wed/Thursday 2-10 pm Fri/Sat 2 to midnight and Sundays 2-10 pm.
Small batch specialists, the beer offerings are always changing, with a few kept on permanent tap status-KingMate IPA, Draca Porter and Das Weiss.
Coming soon is a coffee beer brewed in collaboration with Kreuzberg Coffeee House in SLO.
Several restaurants carry their beers in bottles around town, Petra, Kreuzberg and Sidecar and you can buy bottles at Crossroads Liquor, Lincoln Market, Shell Beach Liquor, Campus Bottle Shop and SLO Natural Foods.
Tastes are $7.00 for four beers, glasses are pint size for $5-7 and specialty high ABV beers are 9 oz pours. No Growlers filled.
